Looking for an exam location?

OK, so now you've studied and you're ready to take the test.  So where do you go?  How do you find a testing location.

Well, if it is June you can probably take your test at one of the Field Day locations at the end of the month.  The last Saturday and Sunday of June is the annual Field Day event, and many of the organizations that host a Field Day also provide Volunteer Examiners to preside over the test.

At any other time of the year, you can search for a location at http://www.arrl.org/arrlvec/examsearch.phtml.  ARRL maintains a list of the exam locations, but you should always call before going.  Details may have changed before the ARRL has had a chance to update their database.
